Historical and Heroic Dogs , the Kickstarter campaign, has ended successfully!!! I’m so, so happy to have this project fund and to be able to have it available for those who are into dogs. As someone who is now owned by two sausage dogs (and loves cats, and used to be a horse person), this is truly a passion project.

What happens now?

Good question! All the cards are already designed and printed. They are now on their circuitous way here! It will take about a week and a half for that. Once here, I’ll collate (and cut what needs cutting) and prep the sets. The autograph have been here for a couple of months already, nothing to wait for that. All they need are the COA stickers on the backs – you’ll see a photo of the human who autographed the cards for Quasi the Great, and for Crusoe the Celebrity Dachshund.

There ARE a few things to wait for, such as the lenticular “Poker” card, and a few more artist sketch cards. They are slowly arriving and look GREAT!! I’ll be sharing a few previews of those. There are indeed DIY blank sketch cards, so if you want to here any artist at all (or yourself) to do a dog sketch, you can commission the artist of your dreams to create a masterpiece to treasure!

The lenticular might arrive only in early October. Hopefully earlier, but shipping is what it is, there is nothing to do about that.

The autographs of Crusoe are completely sold out, but there are a few of Quasi left. Not many though, so do get a master set level that includes one while you can. Historical and Heroic Dogs would make a wonderful gift for a dog lover this December.
